CBSE Class 9 Sanskrit Syllabus 2019-20

CBSE has released Class 9 Sanskrit Syllabus 2019-20. There is no major change has been made in the syllabus and the pattern and it is same as the previous year. In Board examination, the entire syllabus will come.

The annual board examination will be of 80 marks, with a duration of three hours. There will be internal assessment for 20 Marks.

The Question paper contains four sections:

Section A	Reading Comprehension	10 Marks
Section B	Writing Skills	15 Marks
Section C	Applied Grammar	25 Marks
Section D	Literature	30 Marks

Section B

• Question 2 - Patra Lekhan - 5 Marks
• Question 3 - Chitravarnam/Anuchchhed-Lekhnam - 5 Marks
• Question 4 - Hindi/English to Sanskrit Translation - 5 Marks

Section C

• Question 5 - Sandih - 4 Marks
• Question 6 - Sabdroopani - 4 Mars
• Question 7 - Dhaturoopani - 4 Marks
• Question 8 - Karak-upapad-vibhaktayah - 4 Marks
• Question 9 - Pratyayah - 4 Marks
• Question 10 - Sankhyaah - 3 Marks
• Question 11 - Upasargaah - 2 Marks

Section D

• Question 12 - Gadhyamshah - 5 Marks
• Question 13 - Padyamshah - 5 Marks
• Question 14 - Natyamshah - 5 Marks
• Question 15 - Prashna Nirmanam - 5 Marks
• Question 16 - Shloka Anvayah or Bhavartha-Lekhnam - 4 Marks
• Question 17 - Ghatnakramanusar Vakyalekhanam - 4 Marks
• Question 18 - Melanam (Paryaya/Vilom) - 3 Marks
